April 2007 - Advanshare are delighted to offer the UK Cellular Operators connection to and use of an internal ‘Multi-Operator’ DAS situated at the new University College London Hospital (UCLH) across both the Tower and Podium sections of the building.Importantly, the UCLH DAS is currently designed for both 2 & 3G and for up to three participating Operators with T-Mobile (UK) Ltd being the anchor. Advanshare are seeking interest for additional Operators to share the site. Should Advanshare secure Operators four and five then some additional equipment costs will be incurred for coverage and ICNIRP requirements shared only by those joining at this stage.

The DAS has been designed and installed to cover the four main footfall floor areas of the hospital with currently no plans for ward coverage. In addition, the scheme is to be extended in two years to cover the new Women and Children’s hospital currently under construction adjacent.
